Located in downtown GJ, we think this is THE BEST pizza in the valley...maybe even Colorado. The crust is thin, so the focus is all up top. They have so many options, including vegan options and even vegan cheese! Our favorite is the Popeye (sub vegan cheese). We would love to hear what your favorite is! Although it may look like parking is a challenge, there is a large parking lot immediately behind the restaurant.
If you are feeling a little fancy, or just want some really delicious food, make reservations for 626. They happen to have some incredible plant based options as well as incredible mocktails. The service is always impecable. Reservations are highly recommended, and plan to spend a little more here. You will definitely want to try this place out for a special occasion, or if you just want to treat yourself!
This is a cute, quirky coffee shop. They also have baked goods, loaded toasts, and other lite bites that will fill you up an nourish you. This is a great stop if you are headed to the trails or back, or just looking for a place to chill with a nice cup of joe. We never miss this place when visiting the valley. You may also find some brunch specials on the weekend.
This modern Japanese restaurant has so many options, not just sushi. They menu is also filled with vegan options. The Mushroom Dynamite bowl is so rich and incredible, it will melt in your mouth. The only reason to skip this delicacy is if you hate mushrooms or yourself. The vegan udon is also a treat if you love thick, savory noodles. It is a warm hug in a bowl.
If you are wondering around downtown for shopping or just checking out the art, you should visit Kiln. This place is really all about the coffee. It is also the place I met my first oat milk latte, and I have never looked back. You can get a pour over here as well. They have a few very small bites, but don´t plan on getting a meal here. Live life refined.
This unpretentious restaurant has some amazing Napalese, Tibetan, and Indian food. They also have tons of vegan options, including momo and some of the best pakora you will ever eat. If you are not sure what to get, they have several combo options which will allow you to try different things. If you have never tried Nepalese food, but have a flair for adventure, you should plan to eat here.
This is quickly becoming one of our favorite places to eat downtown. This is not your typical bar or bar menu. They usually have a non-alcoholic beer on tap in addition to quite a few vegan(izable) options. They do make some seasonal changes to food and brew menus. They also feature local art for sale.
This cute little Mexican restaurant in downtown has the blandest Mexican food you will ever taste in your life. Seriously, don´t go here. Unless maybe every other restaurant in town is closed. Even then, just go to the grocery store or even a convenience store, or just starve.
